Henry Orestes Andrew was born in Boulder on 23 November 1874, and died in 1949. His parents arrived in Boulder in 1870 from southwestern Pennsylvania, after a short stay in Illinois. His father served as a county commissioner in Boulder County. Henry Andrew attended the White Rock country school, and then the Boulder public schools. He was graduated from the State Preparatory school - now Boulder High - in 1892. The University of Colorado awarded Andrew a bachelor of art...
